homophones are words that sound alike but are spelled differently.

Deven, begin with letter A and give homophones with their meaning. This would make it interesting, difficult and much more challenging.
SO??...that doesnt mean he cannot post atall..im sure he wont post continously again
From my side the homophone is.

accessary, accessory

accessary means Someone who helps another person commit a crime.

accessory means Clothing that is worn or carried, but not part of your main clothing
Yes Deven. I wont continously again.Sasi this is what I meant. I think now its your turn to give an alphabet so that we will try one.
id say as the last set of words ended with y...the next letter should be y
DEven now you post your self in alphabetical order I had started with a continue or start on B. :P
Ok lets move in an alphabetical order..and proceed to the next letter only when we cannot think of any more homophones with that letter..
So a homophone with letter B is:
bite and byte
bite: to cut, tear or grip with teeth.
byte: In computer science, a unit of computer information that is equal to eight bits.
Are there any homophones in hindi language,..can anyone think of some??
I start with C now. Cops and copse are homophones.Cops means television series following police officers.Copse means dense growth of bushes.
Ok so my turn with D
Dew:light water condensation usually found in the morning
Due:payable
sarala you just go for the alphabet B.

Post on this letter.
As the pronunciation is a bit different in can and cane..hence they will not be counted as homophones.
Ya I too think that can and cane are not homophones. Deven its now my turn to begin with E.
Eery - feeling of fear
Eyrie - Nest of eagle.
Thats a nice one arun. Ok so with F ,I have
Fare and Fair
fare: cost of ticket.
fair: light skinned
gorilla, guerilla

gorilla-forests of central west Africa

guerilla-A member of an irregular armed force that fights a stronger force by sabotage and harassment
Deven,Should I start with G now or shall I continue to give some more homophones with F
Arun i already started with g you give some more of G.
seeing the way its going..i think continuing uptill Z and again starting with A is a good idea ,,what say.
Okay. Here is it. Great and Grate are homophones.Great means outstanding and grate means do something to produce an irritating sound.
