Team anna is not contesting. They say they are anti corruption fighters. Then any party that wins is corrupt. Thus team anna is loser on this count. However, it is seen that they are anti congress and not anti corruption. Then they have to indicate which candidate or party they support. Thus, if team anna names any candidate, the expenses of team anna meeting will be added to that candidate. Thus, on this count, the team anna supported candidate will suffer.

Anna's movement is not aimed at any particular political party and if Congress has received the major of share of his criticism it is mainly for the fact that it is a party which has ruled this country for more number of years than any other party or combination and regarded by many as the fountainhead of corruption and worse - the promoter of dynastic politics in democracy!

It may be okay to canvass against congress or UPA but this will definitely lead to tacit support for rival candidates. Supporting a cause and taking partisan stand in elections are not same.
