A camera to capture the light’s speed

Can u believe that there is a camera that can capture the light’s speed? Yes, scientists have come up with a new super-fast camera which is little big in size but it can capture the light’s speed.
A team of scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in London claims that the super-fast camera that they created can pulse of light that is of bullet shape. This light pulse can travel from a end of the laboratory flask to another in just a fraction of a second.
The scientists also say that the camera will take sometime to make its presence in the commercial market. Ramesh Raskar, a Professor at the MIT Media Lab has told that their ultra-fast imaging technology can analyze the method in which the photons travel across the world.
The scientists also claim that the camera is capable of creating 3D images as it can see the photons of lights inside objects too. The device was created by using a streaker tube that is usually used by the chemists to capture the light by scanning it. The camera can also record the progress of the light pulses that travels in a flask of liquid.
Raskar also added that, watching this will seem to be the slow motion of light. It is very slow that the light itself can be seen moving through a particular distance. This speed of light will be captured by the camera.

Aakash tablet,we all know that its going to be distributed all over india in this month. In 14 days, 14 lakh tablets are booked online. The comapany says to delivery 70000 to 80000 tablets in a day.

Hi Ronark Bhardwaj
Here are one latest update about this AAKASH TAB that huge booking had been done so for manufacturing huge tab company will be opening new three new offices for them.
No doubt aakash is good for students. But does anybody think that aakash will be helpful to grown ups also?
Its a good news that Aakash tablet is distributing to students from this month. There is no doubt that student learn many things from Aakash.
Yes,Aakash tablet is going to help many students. This initiative by the Government will help the students to be more interactive with Netbook and new technology.
Vikas where they are opening the new offices that means which state they are opening.
sasi, as you said you already booked a tablet. What is the cost of it and when they are delivering you?
Vikas the cost of the tablet is 3000rs. but when they will deliver i have no idea.
The cost of it is 3000 for students but dont know how much they will charge for sending it to us.
This is the best for students as well as middle class people who cant busy for high price.
It is disheartening that the so much publicized Aakash tablet computer has failed in trial. Needless to say that cheap is not always good. It would be better if computer were of proper quality and at reasonable and feasible price (not 'cheap'). The cost could be subsidized for poor students only.

yes if the quality is poor then i would consider those 45$ being wasted..its much better to have a good-resonable tablet rather than a bad quality-cheap tablet
what ever money we spend on a product the quality also based on the value we spending. if we spend more money we will get good quality, if we spend money less then the quality also less automalically...
The government have decided to give flawless computer to students at no extra cost.

But is this not a case of bad planning. It is surprising how the akash computer failed in test.

I think still Aakash tablet needs more upgrads to reach good level.
Its really great. Thanks for sharing such precious information. I think scientists are engaged in gr8 work.
This is the nice link.It again proved less price gives worst quality.
nice information shared. Thanks and yes as rightly said above scientist are working hard on it.
good deal of information shared in a single post.....the technology and innovation are moving at a faster pace than we could imagine......
