The question is about bribe.Why you have given bribe to which work you have given.

Bribe is given usually for some government related work like for making documents specially license.Bribe is also given to few teachers in schools by parents to make their child intelligent or to save year of nil students.

Bribes are given for not wasting time. For example, I need to get my OD from JNTU. when I visited there and asked for it.They asked me 3000rs to give instantly. If i want it for less money it takes 2 days. If i want for free then it may take 2 weeks. So who will waste time. As I am not capable to pay 3000rs. so i waited for 2 days and paid him1500rs and got my ODcertificate
