What happened there is truly horrific and what I understand it was the culmination of systematic negligence over last few decades of Left rule.It can't be called mass murder as it's a case of 'culpable homicide'.

By the way, Ramprosad remove its gramatical error by removing 'are' with 'do'!
Although we may not call this murder, it is a case of utmost criminal negligence. Excellence should be motto everywhere. Mediocrity in administration is cause of such negligence. All concerned, hospital administration, fires staff, town planner must rise to occasion and not leave things to chance. In this respect, they must learn from defence forces management. Fire practice is periodically done to check that there is always enough alertness.
Ram i dont think so it was a mass murder. This happened due to negligence.
Yes, it is fit case to be called 'criminal neglience' not only of the hospital authorities but also all the staturory authorities connected in this regard. What is more shocking is that hospital authorities were issued with a notice of show cause by the Fire Brigade authorities and directed to care of the deficiency by 5th September and the devastating incident took place on 9th December!!
Yes I am agree that it is a case of negligence. We should be more careful about safety.Mistake for a moment can destroy many lives.
This is very bad this will show how neglected this due to this loss of many lifes.
The police and fire authorities were fully aware of this state of affairs for far too long to justify their inaction!
Negligence nothing murder only sasikanth. because the hospital people responsibility to know about the short circuit problems. So indirectly thats shows mass murder
The government must punish the people who is responsible for this neglegance.
We had a similar tragedy at Uphaar cinema theatre in New Delhi and relatives of the victims were treated most unfairly by the judiciary!
Again and again we hear of such horrible incidents as a result of someone's negligence, it is a big shame and speaks nothing but only about our attitudes. If only someone had taken the fault seriously and got it rectified on time.
It has become a settled habit with us to wake up after the incident,to get wiser when wisdom is least valued!
Cheif Minister Mamata Banerji played an important role and helped many people.
She has truly led by example in a grim crisis like this!
Yes, our honorable minister really came into help to compensate this great loss but such instances as this only proves an utter negligence about duties and responsibilities on the part of hospital managements...!
Things have been so in the sphere of health and education of West Bengal for the past few decades and let us see what the new government does about it!
kerala and west bengal are the the 2 states where left parties dominates.....but in terms of health and education , kerala has prospered beyond terms while west Bengal still lacks some motivation....
She was truley helped the people in this incident. :) :)
no i does not refer as murder this is a due to the negeliance or nothing.
We can call this as a negligance murder towards patients.
