Magnetic flux is the number of magnetic lines of force passing through a surface. It is measured in weber. Its formula is :
Magnetic flux = magnetic field * area.
Oh thats great isha you got correct answer can you specify an example to it.
what is magnetic flux? Isha gave correct answer but I think if someone can give example, it would be nice as then it would be more clear.
agnetic flux is the product of the average magnetic field times the perpendicular area that it penetrates.
sarala what you told had not understood are you giving example or definition.
Take a magnet you will feel magnetic attractive force near the area of magnet . This attractive force is due magnetic lines moving producing by a magnet .Number of magnetic lines of force passing through unit area is the magnetic flux.
sasikanth I think Isha has explained well. Thank you isha what your detailed explanation,
Isha the field around a magent is called magnetic flux.... :)
no the field around magnet is magnetic field but the magnetic flux describes the strength of magnetic field because more the lines of magnetic force more the magnet is strong.
