many years ago, I was interviewed by UPSC for appointment in employees State Insurance Corporation. I was preparing for interview day and night for a few days. I also traveled from Shillong to Delhi for the interview. The deprivation of sleep and continuous journey of 50 hours tired me so much that I could not reply even very simple questions. Had I just taken the interview very easy and made just a small preparation, I would have got success.

From my experience, i can suggest that it is not wise to overburden your mind and deprive of sleep.
