I think this is not so peculiar. Government of India, state governments and various organizations in India have also web sites that give all relevant information. We may benefit from that.

kerala government shows live telecast of the chief ministers office 24/7. everything that is happening in chief ministers office is open for any public to see...i think this is more revolutionary than the follow up by china.
