Driviling License.

I think that issue of driving licences is serving no purpose. Personal vehicles should need no driving licence. Everyone is supposed to know driving and exercise all care. This can be ensured even without driving licenses. I think that even registration of private vehicles should be dispensed with. RTO should be required to register only professional vehicles- trucks, buses, auto taxis etc. This will definitely reduce costs and increase efficiency. Moreover, personal transport should be discouraged and people required to travel by public transport. This will ease traffic on road, reduce accidents and crimes. Many crimes are aided by personal vehicles.

Friends lets drop the idea of vehicle and its license. Petrol price won't come down. It is painful to have car without petrol.

I was planning to buy a car but seeing petrol prices, i have dropped my plan of buying a car.

Issuance of driving license in one day will really be a tough job.

If petrol price increasing then why are you not using Gas kit for car. I also oppose to get license for personal vehicle its all to extra expences and giving income to traffic police.

Giving licence in one day will be very good idea ,lastly I had a bitter experience to get it after one year.

GOI comes up with many new ideas and let's see when it will implement it. But first they need to reduce petrol prices. petrol is costlier than maintaining a car. you can buy vcar but difficult to maintain it with petrol prices.
