Toyota recalls 550,000 cars for steering issue

steering issues are very serious...it is not a good reputation for such a good company like toyota...

This is a good move by the toyato.This will make a good impression in people.

Really this is a huge issue and Toyata needs to compensate for it as they are doing. Once the reputation goes down it is very hard for a company to pull it back but let's hope that the company from now on take all the precautions to manufacture and design non-defective vehicles...!

mistakes do happen ..even if the company is the best in the world.but what need s to be admired is their sense to call back the cars...their sense to solve their mistakes,,,this is good......

I think it's in keeping with the best practices of any reputed company.I remember Nokia doing a similar thing involving defective batteries!
