This is not good for their cricket in future. If their government helped them to save in future many cricketers show intrest in fixing.
Every country must help to a player for getting good name to country not for bad name.

But pakistan like country they will be first in type of ones.
Pakistan is a failed nation and such aberrant behaviour is in almost every field!
Investigation by intelligence department and income tax has shown in the past that players are lying on the heap on money. Unfortunately, they have failed to control their greed and entangled themselves with a sort of criminal offence, which is not a mere fault but a betrayal to their country and to the very essence of the true spirit of sports and games.

Only severe punishment would be able to bring over the confidence of the people to the glorious game of cricket...!

every one agrees that pakistan is a failed nation and whenever any allegation of match fixing is involved they take the blames.it is worthy to note that other countries like south africa, india, kenya and west indies have a history of match fixing.
I think this shameful practice has been there for decades thanks to ICC failing miserably to take any meaningful action!
match fixing is hard to prove. unless any sting operation has been done by any journalist like what happened in case of mazhar majeed , there is absolutely no way to prove it specially ..spot fixing..
It's tough,no doubt but ICC has looked the other way when it was put on the scent!!
Apart from the match fixing that is carried on by some players it is also not unheard that it is also carried out by coaches or team officials...!
The larger question to be addressed is that sporting is not insulated from our society and like any other activity corruption bug too has bitten it!
corruption has got hold of many fields.but it surprises me how only cricket is only involved.not many cases in football and hockey.

Here are some examples of other match fixing scandals of the world other than cricket....

In 1964, the great British football betting scandal of the 1960 was uncovered

In 1989, former baseball player Pete Rose voluntarily accepted a permanent ban for a major league baseball

And there are many to add to the list...

In fact no sports is left from the ill fates of match fixing...!
It could never have been free from it but the number of such cases have gone up many-folds!
Match fixing became a part in sports. This will create bad name for that person and their country.
No amount of vigilance can ever rid any sport for that matter of thsi curse as it has bcome more of a commerciall and economic rather than a pure recreational activity!
Time on reports of betting and match fixing have proved that cricket has become a center of corrupt practices. As a result people have become disgust with it...!
It has a ripple effect on the popularity of the game and rightly so!

that is the point here....there is an overall need to change the cricket mentality.more countries should start playing this game and more competition might make the game better....just a thought ...not sure ....
this is not good and this type of thing does not allowed in a cricket.
