Rankings

Why the rank should change? kindly explain this to me. It is internal matter of the cricket team.

I am too surprised,that why ranking not changed.Sachin,has not at all done well in that series and ranking should fall.

I also not understood how the icc will follow the ranking systems.

Ranks are based on the performance so no matter whether the player players or not in the current matches as these describe the position.

Ranking systems are based on certain rules and conditions and maybe there are no negative points when a player is not playing or may be other players have not done well enough to surpass them hence no change in their ranking system...!
