We know him as DADA MUNI but he earned the title of the 'grand old man of Hindi cinema'His original name was Ashoke Kumar Ganguly.
I am paying great respect to him and homage to his memory on his centenary.

Ashok Kumar was the first super star of the film industry and a great personality whom everybody respects till date. He was a great actor but above all he was a great human being. His contribution to the film industry is enormous...!

He is still know for his movies and as a child i have watched him hosting the teleserial HUM LOK in DD channel.

Indian rail board made a advertisement and they took the fomous song of Asoke kumar Ku jhik jhik railgari.This is also a tribute to him.
