Husband's Day

Yes this is an important day to all wives but Bangali women does not celebrate this .They celebrate Shibaratri.

This is really a wonderful festival where a wife prays for the well being of her husband and it also helps to bind the relationship even stronger...!

Does Shibaratri- mean 'Night of shiva'. If so, why only Bengali women and not men celebrate this. Also is this another name for Karwa Chauth or this is entirely different. Please give some more details.

Punjabis, UP people,Rajasthanis, Sindhis people do this fast. Wife do the fast for long age for their husband. Really its a great day for husband.
But,some male people also do the fast for the wife. How lucky that girl would be!!!
Really a great day for a couple. It makes their relation more stronger.

I heared and saw about karvachouth in movies and tvs but i never found ladies doing it in andhrapradesh
