To delete contact from gmail. just goto contacts and select the contacts which you want to delete and then select delete button and click on go.

Then all the email contact will get deleted from your buddy list in your gmail

Oh, recently tried alot to delete contacts but i couldnt. I did lot of work to know how to delete them so i felt let others also. so i posted the forum over here.
