This is the tricks of the game. If you are not confident then quit with more money ,no need to take risk and quit with the amount.
Somebody want to take and failed if their luck betrayed. So confidence has a great value.
But sometimes we should not take risks too. I don't see KBC but I am surprised why these did took life lines may be that could have saved them.

Yes, risk is not good. We should only take risk, when there is full chances of success.
One can never go forward in life unless one is willing to take some risks at least even if they are calculated risks.Confidence comes with experience and also having dealt with many tough situations in life.Being confident is all about being able to face life head on no matter what, you dont hesitate or give up when you are required to do so...
yes, you are right, last week in one episode of the KBC , a person who is a contestain came to to play.He is a son of tea supplier itseems. He feel ashamed of it. so want to grow big person. He reached 12 lakhs. after that the question was really tough and he has confusion in between 2 answers. As he is in need of money he should quit but what he did with his over confidence he said wrong answer and he lost the game and came down to 1 lakh.
Today, I saw one Business Women, who has reached till 25 Lakhs and suddenly at one question, she gave wrong answer and came down to 20,000.
Friends there is a simple logic. If you know the answer then play otherwise quit. The contestants who lost in KBC is mostly because of greediness and not overconfidence. There is a difference between the two  .
