Are you talking about forumale like waters chemical composition- H2O where two hydrogen and one oxygen.
Any thing which is related to chemistry can post here.With the formulae and description.
i now so many of formulas lets start
CaCO3--> CaO +CO2
here caco3 is calcium carbonate which is when heated it dissociated into Calcium oxide(CaO) and Carbon oxide (CO2).
Hydrogen when exposed to sunlight with chlorine, it bursts out to give hydrogen chloride acid solution.
H2 + 4Cl = 2HCl2
i am desrcibing varous chemical symbols of different elements in periodic table.
H= hydrogen
He= helium
li- Lithium
B= boron
Ba= barium
Sc= scandium
br= bromine
Zn= zinc
cu= copper
ar= argon
kr= krypton
Thank you for both of you i went back to my child hood to memorise this again.
No isha i am not testing you I want to recollect my knowledge from you.

If i asked the question wrong then sorry.
Good thread started but sorry guys I was a student of commerce.
Thank you.Just for recollecting the knowledge.

Every one will have use of this.
Na2CO3 + 2H2O = 2NaOH + H2CO3

Sodium Carbonate means washing powder. When you put washing powder in water, you get above salt.
I studied a lot of chemical formula.Unfortunately none of them comes to my mind now!
o3 - this is known as ozone. this is a gas which is formed as layer between sun and earth and it is protecting us from the strong and dangerous rays - UV rays
Are you talking about the chemical formula like water or h2o is equal to 2h + o2 = h2o.
Why can't we continue this thread?
Though I hate chemistry, many friends may be interested in knowing chemical formulas and elements :P

Sasi, let me know, how you made this thread appear yellow :) :)
Are you learning chemistry here, Sorry you got the wrong person :lol: I am a commerce graduate B)

One girl is here...who always give me a lot of puzzles to solve....for her test. I think, she loves Chemistry a lot :woohoo:
Chemical Formula for common salt - Na + Cl --- NaCl ( Sodium Chloride)
Chemical Formula for Epsom Salt - Mg2 + SO4--- MgSO4
Magnesium Sulphate

I think K is used for pottassium. If so, KCl stands for pottassium chloride :evil:
