The Lok Sabha has passed a bill against sexual harassment of women.

But can law help? women have to be bold. Let men fear harassment by women. As long as women are passive and not aggressive, nothing helps. The need fight against double standards. There is no reason why women fear harassment while men are free of all such notions.

some days before I have told in another thread also....as long as woman tolerate, she will face such situations in life. The day which she feels, am as strong as man and she resists back, no one will tease her. Actually, most men are teasing ladies just to show that they are strong. But the truth is, they are just pretending so. No man can reach the mental strength and patience a woman carries. He can only shout and show off, nothing else :)

The main difficulty is not that women are weak. Men are also not so strong. But they benefit from double standards of society. Nobody will bother if son comes home late night and even if he moved with many girls. A girl is considered as holy cow and a symbol of family respect. A boy is never defiled but a girl is considered dirty if she is seen with a boy in compromising position. This attitude needs be changed. First, women should change their mental attitude. Then society will change. Men feel no shame in harassment. Why should women feel guilty for any incident that may happen to them. They should not be afraid of so called 'honor' which is neither less nor more than that of men.
