Team anna getting bizarre

Now team anna is coming with more bizarre ideas. The latest is 'performance audit' of members of parliament.

The difficulty with anna team is that they do not appreciate the role of political parties on whose symbols the MPs get elected. The policies are collectively decided by the political parties and MPs have to abide by that. The public also elect candidates as representatives of a political party that allots symbol. The MPs. have to abide by party whip and party policy. When team anna talks of 'the MPs listening to party high command rather than people', this sound very funny.

The MPs are bound by parliamentary procedure and their conduct is governed by speaker/ chairman of the house. Team anna wants to know how many times an MP speaks in parliament. Here also they forget that parliament is not a club for group discussion. The speaker/ chairman allots time to political parties, who depute their members in parliament to speak. So, every member will not get an opportunity to speak. It is pity that team anna do not understand this simple fact of our parliamentary system.
