Corruption and pension

Pension is paid to the senior citizens, cutting pension of senior citizens is not good

Pension is paid for work during service. So, performance affects pension. But direct cut in pension is unreasonable. Pension depends on pay. So, any stoppage of increments with cumulative effect will suffice. If pay is reduced by stopping increment, pension will be automatically reduced.

Also, if some one indulges in grave corruption, he can be dismissed and no pension will be payable at all. So, the change in rules about cut in pension is not understood.

yes,I agree with you.Corruption is an offence and should be treated severely.

It appears that the provision for deduction from pension is being made to penalize government servants who retire before disciplinary proceedings are over. One an employee is retired, it is not possible to enforce punishment of stoppage of increment, promotion etc. Presently, there can be no deduction from pension for past misconduct. Hence, the new law is being made to deduct 10% for small and 20% for big offence from pension.

All are not corrupt. There are honest and dishonest everywhere including government. In fact, government employees are more honest than corporate sector, film world, business houses etc. The private schools in U.P. are conducting examinations by mass contract copying and these are the people in Agra who organized children's support to Anna team.

The government have system of taking action against corrupt acts. almost daily CBI is booking many officers of government and many are being prosecuted.

For strategy of some corrupted politician we can not blame whole govt. because we are the reason who selected Govt. So anything wrong then need to change our decision of selection instead of doing anything else.

I appreciate this. Corrupt as well honest are everywhere. It is said that people get the government they deserve. As corruption is a way of life in India, we cannot get better government.
