Who won- anna team or Government?

yeah right if people and government understood the actual meaning of bill then if bill is yet not passed still it will be innovative in the minds of them.

If we all stop participating in corruption, the anna movement is successful. A few days back, Agra police took an oath not to indulge in corruption. Now people are surprised as the police are actually acting very honestly. Salute to Agra Police.

Surprisingly, those who actually participated in anna movement are most corrupt. They have not stopped tax evasion, food and drug adulteration, cheating their labor and customers. It is said that Anna corruption movement is only for government employees and politicians. The anna team followers like businessmen, film actors and mafia may go on doing their unlawful, corrupt practices as usual.

We can not say anything till final result because its politics and public always used by politicians.

The Lok pal Bill submitted by government may be amended or a new version be adopted considering all drafts including that of anna team, Aruna Roy and some others and the three issues submitted by anna team relating to inclusion of lower bureaucracy, state Lok ayukta under Lok pal and citizens charter.

Kiran Bedi says that the anna agitation is one of million mutinies. There is also a contrary view that this agitation was essentially a middle class show, excluding the poor and dalits (downtrodden), and this also is no remedy against the corrupt corporate sector.

We can't guess it but many wish that Anna should win.

Where are 'honest' people to fight corruption? This is the main question. This is not fight against any concrete authority as apart from government and politicians, others in film industry, business, corporate world are dishonest and corrupt.

So, fight against corruption is essentially a fight against self- for self improvement.

Incidentally, this fight is like Ram Lila where we burn effigies of Ravana every year because ravana had kidnapped sita. However, even then kidnap and rapes are not ended. Why? This is because those who burn effigy of Ravana are themselves kidnappers and rapers. This is true about Anna team and crowds behind him as well. The corrupt may raise slogans but cannot end corruption. You cannot clean floor with dirty water.

Gulshaji I agree that corrupted people should first not participate and should vow before joining the movement. There are many instances were some corrupted leaders were catch red handed by news channels. So, whether they participate or not there is no harm for the party as if the bill is passed they are the first people to be caught and fired. Participation in the movement by such people is just a pretention, but in real they havent seen their fate once government agrees. :angry: :dry: EVen some common and poor people have participate in the movements they are the main asserts for Anna.

Actually we should not bother about winning or losing. If we all improve ourselves and act honestly, corruption will end. Then we all shall be winners.
