The TN assembly has unanimously passed a resolution seeking clemency for Rajiv killers. This is not after sound discussion. This follows voice and slogans of mob in street.
Is this not right time for dissolving all assemblies and parliament. Let us fix some big grounds in state capitals like ram Lila ground in Delhi. Let people gather there periodically and directly make law and take decisions. We shall be saving huge expenses on elections and running parliamentary system.

As I already commented that it was an ill-advised move! May be the government tried to expoit popular sentiments on it!
Exploiting popular sentiments is key to vote bank politics. The Ram janmoBhoomi was one such step that successfully installed saffron camp not only in several states but also at center. Populism and mobocracy have become a way of life. We cannot blame Tamil mobs and the assembly. Now if j & K leaders also intend to repeat Tamilnadu episode in their state, this will be in accordance with latest national scenario.

There is a coalition government in Punjab comprising Akali and BJP. The Punjab ministers asks for clemency to Bhullar a sikh terrorist. This gives opportunity to Abdullah to have a dig at BJP.
BJP cannot apply different standards in Punjab and J & K on mercy to death convicts.
