I am not a dentist. Only a dentist can answer it whether he goes or not.

in my opinion a dentist must go to other dentist for treatment because they see the infection in his own teeth.

well i think a doctor can't treat himself so he need to see to other doctor.. :huh: I hate going to the dentist. Not because I'm scared of cavities, but because my childhood dentist has scared me for life. Every time I'd go in for a cleaning, he'd end up poking/stabbing me in the cheek with a tool. but my new torrance dentist is good and great staff!

My experience says that most of the dentists marry dentists only. This way they save on fees of their dental problems.

I think Dentists will go to other dentists if they have some problem .


They have no choice as they can not pick their own teeth in any case. They shall have to go to dentist like an eye surgeon can not inspect his/her own eye.

If dentist himself needs treatment like root canal, teeth cleaning, or something like that which they cannot perform themselves they have to visit another dentist for treatment purpose.

yes definitely. because how a dentist treat themselves. if they need to pull their teeth it will be difficult to them and if they try and pull some other teeth then it will be great danger. So they prefer going to other dentist
