connecting laptop and pc

I think with data cable. its my idea only try it.It will work.

tried it..have tried it with a lan wire also..but no use

You need a router for connecting PC with laptop. you need one console cable. Its a two step process.
First you need to configure the router by connecting console cable to Router and PC.
After configuring the router,you need to connect console cable to PC and Laptop. After doing some settings in laptop for the connection,you can Connect PC and laptop. I don't think there is any software which can communicate directly with PC.
