It may be not the rule of mosques . but it is not the part of any custom that girls and women are not allowed to enter in holy place.

Women are not supposed to mix up with men outside family and they are supposed to observe Purdah. They can pray at a place exclusively for women.

I had replies for this question in another thread.Women are allowed in mosques.Where you reside they may be following another custom.

They keep force by someone more over there is not a such rule in their religion not to go to mosquies.
