Of course coconut is a name of fruit but can be used in making vegetables,like kaju and kiss miss.

I think the fleshy part of coconut is a fruit while the oil made from coconut is called vegetable oil. Overall, we can term coconut as a fruit...

It is good fruit? well that is surprising but is used in cooking curry.

Our Andhra people wont use fruits in curries much. But i most of the otherstate dishes they use fruits in cooking curry. I andhra pradesh dishes we use papaya in curries
