should the legal DRINKING age be decreased!!

I personally feel that 25 is way too high to be the legal age to drink.In a country where you can take all your decisions independently,which includes marring your life partner,the drinking age too must be 18.

From what age do you want to drink?you may suggest to government to implement.

i already said 18 and i feel it is the right age as every other power to an individual also comes at 18 in india.

but whats the need of drinking its a bad habit.

The age of 18 is when we attain physical maturity and that does not necessarily correspond with intellectual or mental maturity! Taking up drinking at such young ages can and usually does lead to serious addiction! And once you have tasted everything that life has to offer at a young age, what motivation or goal will a person have left to look up to later in life! I think 25 is the correct limit.

The right time to drink is when you are employed and self dependent. This has nothing to do with age. The students should not drink till they complete studies.

Parents and schools are responsible for correctly guiding and supervising till you are yet studying. There should be no legal age for drinks. Alcoholic drink should be free like coke and Pepsi and available without restriction.

The soldiers consume alcoholic drinks irrespective of age. They are also citizens and the age of twenty five years does not matter to them. why should this matter to civilians.

drinking has spoiled so many houses and it can be understood by only women thats why they said it drinking should be banned. for men its a source of joy only.
