During day time also we find mosquitoes but very few. But at night time they are more because mosquitoes like darkness. Mosquitoes cannot see properly at day time , their eyes work very well at night time
Ha ha ha very funny to the answer that they take rest. they dont select time for sucking the blood like vampires.
They every appear in day time but the reason for seeing more at night is as they like dark environment and dampness. :)
Generally during the day time mosquitoes are less in number compared to the night and there are certain types of mosquitoes which bites mostly during the day time like the Asian tiger mosquitoes. While the majority of mosquitoes comes out during the night time and likes to feed on human blood....
it is because they feel heat in the outer side during the day time and feel cool environment in th night and so they come out . you have noted that in winter seasons in day and night means in both times mosquitoes are activated except severe cold because in normal winter season day time is also as cool as night so they feel comfort in day time also and come out in both times.
