On a rainy Thursday, many Hyderabadis made their way to the Chowmahalla Palace for an evening of ghazals. The palace, lit by awe-inspiring chandeliers, and resounding with the music of ghazals, made the evening a memorable one. Though there was a slight drizzle, the audience was mesmerised and did not seem to mind the rain. However, the organisers had alternative plans, and the complete event was shifted indoors.
Although the concert was part of the launch of the album Deewana Aapku Nahi Dhoonda, the ghazals took centre stage. The compositions were based on poems written by Sadguru Manik Prabhu Maharaj, a great saint and poet, who is worshipped as the fourth incarnation of Dattatreya Swami.

Now-a-days it is very rare that movies are concentrating on Ghazals but it really pleasant feeling to listen them. Hyderbad is full of urdu poets and it shows muslim culture. It is mini pakistan where talent is there but proper utilization is not done.
You are right Rajani.k, and people in hydrabad are more like nawabs, and more interested in ghazals
