MK leader M.K. Stalin was today arrested along with scores of supporters as he led state-wide demonstrations against the 'foisting' of land grabbing cases on partymen by the ruling AIADMK.

Stalin, former Deputy Chief Minister and son of DMK president M. Karunanidhi, was arrested here for staging protest in defiance of prohibitory orders, police said.

The DMK Treasurer alleged 'political vendetta' on part of the AIADMK government for the land grab cases filed against his partymen.

Protests were also held across the state with partymen taking to streets to register their anger.
