OLd discussions only

I stunned seeing Maverick's advanced happy new year today in front page of forum.But it was posted 7 months ago!!!

Ha ha all are not showing intrest in posting new forms because reply will get more points than the questioning one's

It is Ok, but for posting replies new discussions are also to be posted.

If you are getting 500 rs in a job in one day than the 200 rs in other one which one will you show intrest.


My suggestion is Keep same points for both questioning and answering then the new posts will automatically come.

You are right.But this was the system followed so far and there was a lot of discussions.Recently it came down.Your suggestion is a good one.

Once try this one that site may get a lot of responses well.So we also fell some happy.

I used to post replies as well as new discussions.Else the session will get bored.

i also do same as i want to discuss old points and want to know what are the topics which people usually used to discuss here and these are really interested topics and we can say that th topics discussed are related to our life.

I have also noticed it a number of times.By doing so,maximum points can be earned.

locking is not better because the new members then can't discuss about the old matters which are sometime good for knowledge. thats why i also look for old discussion where i get so many interesting points which i was never know before .

There are so many knowledgeable members in this site and even if one good new topic is posted by each of the members everyday then such situations might not arise. I think members should be responsible enough to post some good topics so that the enthusiasm of the forum section is maintained. One thing I would also like to add is that to win the daily forum activator award creating new topics is equally important to posting replies!!!

May be some members believe too firmly in the old proverb that 'old is gold'! It's a glodmine to score points!!!

I agree that new members should read old topics. But they should write a new post only if they have something new to add.

I think the leader board and daily forum activator award are to be modified with some criteria then.
