Mining money reached Delhi: Cong

The Congress party on Thursday said it will keep an eye on the developments in Karnataka while demanding an indepth probe in the alleged mining scam of over `16,000 crores. The money involved in the scam has also reached to New Delhi, it said.

“We are keeping an eye on the developments in Karnataka,” said the Congress spokesman Shakeel Ahmed. He said the new chief minister should not hush up corruption into the mining scam.
Responding to questions he said the BJP has no moral right to talk about corruption because its governments in Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh have been facing scams. And in Bihar where it has been sharing power with the JD(U), such cases have come to the fore.
