Veppam is ready to hit theatres

Veppam, produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon’s home banner and directed by his protégée Anjana, has generated a big buzz in trade circles even before its release.

According to industry sources, the film has been already sold for a good price in the local market as well as in international theatres.

Veppam stars four major characters, played by Tollywood actor Nani, Karthik Kumar, Nithya Menon and Bindhu Madhavi.

When Anjana is asked about what lured distributors to the film, the young filmmaker, who worked with Gautham in Vettayadu Vilayadu says, “I think the film’s biggest attraction is that it has all the necessary elements and anyone who watches it can relate to it. I won’t say it has a new story, but I have presented it in an interesting way, which should go down well with all — A, B and C centres. And when the product is from a banner like Photon Kathaas, you know it will be nothing short of a high standard and have great technical finesse.”
