Should public transport be used to save fuel?

I think it's worth considering and I would also suggest that owners of private vehicles shoould consder not to take out their vehicles at least once in a week!

I think that public transport should be improved and private transport discouraged. This will reduce fuel consumption, save parking space and bring many economies.

Yes, I agree that public transport should be used to save fuel and reduce traffic jams and we should try to use public transport as much as possible rather than private transport...

Pooling of cars too is a great way of saving fuels and should be considered seriously by car owners!

actually the rich people do not favor to use public transport service like buses or trains. it hit their ego and respect .. they want to travel only in their own convince.

Public transport though is good to save fuel it is not preferred by people who have to reach any place urgently as often public transport have their own schedule. However,it is good idea.

Its really a good idea to reduce private transport to conserve fuel and help in reducing traffic problem.
