viability of four autonomous regions

The union Gobernment has accepted establishment of four supreme courts at Delhi. Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. It is also decided to establish a Federal court at Delhi for dealing with constitutional issues and appeals against Supreme Courts' decisions. I think this is in recognition of the fact that India is a federal state. Likewise, it may be feasible and desirable to establish four autonomous regions in North, South, East and West with Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai as regional capitals. The existing states will be in the respective regions and under control of the four regional autonomous governments. Then the Central Government will be redesignated as Federal Govt. just as Federal court that has been decided. This needs discussion.
