if your throat pain is due to cold and your voice also got changed then add pepper in milk or tea which you have daily and have it. you will get relief and you pain also recover slowly.
The most common cause for the sore throat is virus, just take a steam inhalation and hot watter gargling with added salt is enough to get better.....
Make a vigorous mixture of vicks and musturd oil and rub it on your neck and cover your neck properly when you go to sleep.

Also a thick mixture of honey and crushed ginger must be had to get the instant relief.
If you have a soar throat eat garlic because garlic contains an antibacterial and antiviral agent and even you can get garlic pills which comes very handy...

Gargle with lurke warm water twice a daily will help the same.
I am doing daily Thrice with the salt and luke warm water but not having much result.
I feel that you may have to take some medicines if the condition persist as normally all these remedies work.

what you are referring to is sore throat, mainly caused by viral infection. Gargling every few hours with hot water in which a pinch of salt and turmeric added provides relief. Also chewing a clove of raw garlic with a pinch of ajwain and a fresh betel leaf is very soothing to throat.

Home remedies - Take a glass warm water with 1 teaspoon full honey. Everyday.
yeah right honey is the best medicine for throat pain .
Gargle with salt water daily for two times if it is not so severe.
try to drink warm waterdaily until your throat pain go if it is due to cold
