Mumbai- a soft target!

High population may be other reason . In Mumbai everywhere is crowd so blast will get success 100%

I will agree with santosh,mumbai is highly populated and there is a chance of high success rate.

Previously Ahmedabad was also targeted so in future other this may happen in other city. Its depends upon terrorist India need to make strongest team to clean terror.

I would attribute it to the explosive population concentration in the city and its geographical location.

More than population or geographical location, Mumbai is targeted because of it being the major economic sector of India! Take Mumbai out of action for a few days, and the entire country's economics suffers, affecting the stock market seriously. As all the major industrial sectors have corporate offices and head offices located in Mumbai, it is severely affected.

I think it is the finance capital attacking planned.Once the finance is disrupted all may get blocked.

Yeah Chinmoy! Especially now with incessant rains, at least 50% of the Mumbai residents are having to face the nightmares of sewage waters flooding their houses because there is simply no empty land left to carry the rain waters away. I was just seeing a report on it on a news channel and it is totally disturbing. The scene repeats every year.

I just wish that people who say Mumbai belongs to everyone and hence can be thronged by all put themselves in the place of these people and see how it feels! :( For two - three days continuously these people have not been able to sit down, let alone sleep, because there is no clean and dry space left anywhere!

When I visited Mumbai in 2000 I had a nightmarish experience in traveling in suburban trains and grew apprehensive that it was just a matter of time that terrorists would targets trains and stations.My worst fears turned out to be correct!

All the points discussed below motivate the terrorists to do their activities in Mumbai. Being financial capital and Metro location, any small incident becomes a big news for the country.

Builders have a very very strong lobby and it is their interests that are taken more seriously because they can provide unimaginably huge amounts of money to the politicians for their various causes!

yeah mumbai is one of thew important city of india as delhi . it is financially strong and the residence of stars . it is the main target of terrorists.
