yes, most of the parents treat boys better than girl. but outside the home , girl will be treated special

I think girls get better treatment. Boys are own and may be treated any way. But a daughter is 'paraya dhan' and should be well protected for handing over in due course to her 'true owner' viz. husband.

These days parents give equal treatment to sons and daughters both. That is why girls are also performing well in various exams. The girls need more care and protection for 'protecting virginity'. Female chastity is very important and nobody cares about boys.

I have seen both kind of families.First where there is only one son and two or more daughters,parents use to love their son more than their daughters.

Second where daughters are considered as paraya dhan as rightly discussed by Mr. Ajmani, parents (especially father) has too much affection for them.

That's why the family having one daughter and one son is considered as a balanced family and there is no gender bias.

History says boys and mens capability but both have own quality we need not to compare.

Girls and their parents has to fight against this dowry.

Sometimes earlier these conceptions were prevalent in society but the happy news is that people are now getting aware of the fact that both boys and girls are equal and hence both should be treated well for the development of a healthy society and into a better human beings...

Now a days most parets have one or two child.most of them do not treat like this.

To be frank enough in case of India boys are treated better than girls in some families.

I believe that equal sharing of love for kids is not done.

in my home all of treated equally ya early before i childhood i thought that my brother is better treated than us but it was wrong when i become bigger.
