Yes, I have spent one year in Solan, near Shimla. I have done it several times in Kufri and also the Ridge.

I remember have enjoyed horse riding as a child. Since I grew up, I never rode a horse.

I hadn't rided on a horse.When visited Koorg there was a chance to ride on Elephant.But just missed.
