High ideal thoughts than cannot be implemented are utopia. For example, a totally crime free society is Utopian thought.
Impracticable schemes of political or social reform is called as the Utopianism.
Utopia is a land of fantasy where everything is perfect and now ,I hope, the meaning is clear!
Good information on this topic but if it is a imaginary state why did this term come into existence? Is it derived from the hypothetical stories?
Thomas More titled his book with it. The book describes an imaginary island representing perfect society! This is coined from 'ou-topos' meaning no place and 'eu-topos' meaning good place!
