Bed side children stories- a vanishing art

Daily Dose
Many of us would have heard stories from grand mother and grand father routinely before sleep. Now this tradition is vanishing. Comiucs, TV, video games have contributed to demise of the art of story telling. Neither today's children are interested nor the elders expert in the art. I also am not expert in this but had heard numerous stories from elders as a child.

Yes, bed side stories have vanished this days, if parents can tell bed side stories then children would surely be interested, it is parents who have to

Yes, it is a fact that though we have grown by hearing bed side stories from our elders now the same trend is decreasing day by day either because the parents of the present generation are too much occupied with their regular activities or the kids of these generations are finding more pleasure in online games, play stations, x-box etc...

In today's way of life,most of the mothers areworking and they dont have time for it.

Even children enjoy games and internet more than stories these days as because these things are available to them when ever they want rather then the company of their elders...

But if there are bedside stories there will be good relation with children but as ajay said children are enjoying games and internet, but these are making gap between parents and children. They wont get the love as much they need from parents. It looks like mechanical life
