Guys tell me honesty, as an honorable member of boddunan, how do you feel when you have done something really very good either in your post or anything in the forum and members say or write simply thank you for the same without pressing the thank you button???

And that is what Lord Krshna said to Arjuna in Mahabharata. :)

Yes, work should kept more important, nothing else.
Those who focus more on the quality of work comes out to be successful at the end.

More quality work, more good work, more appreciation.
We can share our thank you to the members. Thank you button is a simple way. :)
Thank you botton adds one point. Karma + will add one karma. Mere thank you in words will give five points to the thanks giver if he has made his post long enough.

I appreciate the sincere thanks whatever way the giver chooses.

I have always seen you given 'Thank you' for good responses. That's why am following the same way :) :) :)

If you do any big work for anyone, what could be the best way of appreciation?

Just appreciate him by clicking the "Thank you" button :) :)
I have a mixed feeling i know i don't many + ve karmas but if someone writes" thanks" i consider is equally as a karma. :)
Yes you are right and we should not think about it.

I never worry for my karma as i know its not in our hand moreover you can't expect +ve from others if you write some quality content its their wish if they give it or not. :) :) :)

I am going to put forward a suggestion of likes and dislikes option. Just wait
By saying thanks to them if they are our loved ones we can give gift to them.

'Thank you' and karma should not relate to individual but the content of a particular post. This should not be a way to show love or a gift.

Yes. But if someone present before us a data on our request, we should thank him for his help.

Karma is what....performance of a person in forum prompts us to give him.....it may be a particular post or overall performance a day

Absolutely we should give "Karma" and "Thankyou" to the posts not to the person. But i feel people hardly follow this thumb rule.

To be very frank I am least worried about this feature as this is personal choice of a particular member.

Even i too don't worry about "Karma" but certainly would like to know on which posts i got +ve which is not possible.

Next you will ask for extra points on those posts. No thank you. Carry on where you are not concerned. Never mind the unnecessary matters.

Yes and know, since you cannot take them seriously as true indicators for what they are meant for. But jealousy has nothing to do because you can not convert them in to currency.
