In Indian parliament the time that is left over after question hour is called zero hour. It starts at 12 pm(noon) when members of parliament raise important matters before the parliament!!!
I think it is differently understood in different fields
Thanks ajay for explaining it so clearly.I too had this doubt and use to think that it is like a break for sometime.
Zero hour is the time in a legislative assembly when some important questions are asked.
time after question is over in parliament is called zero hour.
I haven't heard about this before.Thank you for explaining and sharing with us.

I think it will have different meanings according at that time.So i can't explain it.
