I agree. Foreign channel simply observe their culture without detriment to ours. Indian channels telecast shows consistingof Indian stars, Indian languages and background. These are neither western nor Indian but a caricature. These ridicule Indian culture.

Yes, I agree that Indian T.V. channels are destroying our culture. These T. V. channels just imitate foreign program and try to make mockery out of it.

I think its demand of Indian public . Serial made as per choice. who like to see Hindi sanskrit serials.

like how internet website some are really very good and some are very bad depensds on us what and where we go same way tv channels are. the serials in SAB TV, discovery, animal planets NEWS channels are good for entertainment and information.so public should lock or block the channel which is not good and watch those which is good .simple. you will find goo and bad every where its on us how we will take it

I think serials are still good but new movies with hot songs disturbing more to our public.

I think the Indian channels are invaded by the foreign culture and have gone beyond limits.

It is the channels which are disturbing our culture but the way we look at it. Culture always does exist and will exist provided we are deep rooted inclination towards it. Channel is for entertainment purpose and thinking in the same lines will make our life difficult to live. I don't agree with the statement.

I can say that due to the race to win the competition and limelight, Indian TV Channel planners have forgotten what is 'Indian Culture' and what Indian people want

I used to adore the series of 'Surabhi' hosted by Renuka sahane and Siddharth Kak in DD-1. I wish we portray such educational,cultural and colorful shows in other channels

not at all because there are some traditional serials also which give rise to Indian culture yet there are some type of tvshows which are telecasted just like on MTv are totally destroying the indian culture

It is partially true my friend as you have the full liberty to watch the channel of your choice.
There are many informative Indian channels including News channels.We should avoid wasting time in time killing TV serials.

Well, I don't fully agree to this statement! I do concede that some programs are too damaging for a youngster's psyche, but at the same time, foreign channels such as Nat Geo, Discovery, etc have opened up the whole world in front of us. It is through these channels that we have mainly learned about the diversity and beauty of nature, got information about animals, birds etc. etc.

It is mainly our failure for not being able to choose what we should be watching and letting our children watch! I don't blame these channels fully, they are only out to make money. Our governmment's policies should have been definitive in the first place.

I totally agree that indian Channels are now a days became worst. In India,people just think of their pocket. They doesn't worry about what type of channels are launched.
