Is India really a world player in software?

Indians are everywhere in the world of software. I am software engineer I like this question.

This is right. U.S. President has also warned Americans that China and India will beat U.S.A. in science related careers. The software comanies even in U.S.A. are being managed by Indians or other Asians. Presently, India specializes in software and china in hardware.

Yes, I agree that India is really a world player in software and the reasons provided above by our fellow members is enough to prove this fact about our country India...
