Misuse maybe the main reason and i think in foreign countries most of the girls reveal their profile so we cannt say all the girls hide their profile.

A girl needs to be bold enough and should be ready to face the consequences like having of bee-line of boys hanging around or receiving tons of mails.Revealing the entity leads to a dramatic and imaginary story which always seems wonderful.

Indian girls are very bold but social environment makes them timid.
