Maharashtra has raised drinking age to 25. This is a bit paradoxical. Will a soldier who is used to drinking in army be ineligible to drink in Maharashtra. This will be a strange case of enjoying more liberty under Army than civil administration.

I don't think indians are going to follow this rule. In india, person who makes this rule, breaks the rule. So,its just formality
I agree with Ronark Bhardwaj, people will break the rules if caught pay fine and come out.
It is a correct move But the thing is they will break the rules. Its not sure they will follow it.Thank you for sharing.
Funny to say the least! When marriageable age is lower than that!In India this kind of ban works counterproductively!
Well I don't think that this is going to help much the cause because in India laws are made but hardly being followed or made to be followed. I think the ministers now-a-days are trying to prove how concerned they are related to public health by passing out this and that while the other side of the coin says that they don't even care to maintain the basic health and facilities that should be available to the common citizens...
Will this work well?I think what going to happen is mass drinking by youth in private.
this rule is not of any interest at all. no bosy will follow this at all.
