love marriage or arrange marriage

People in love think love marriage, but i prefer arranged marriage. It's difficult to trust any one these days

Love is instant emotion and there is no way other than to join for life even if you fail immediately. But mostly people do not fall in such instant love. So, only arrange marriage is left. Practically, arranged marriage is one decided by elders and love marriage is that decided by concerned bride and groom. There is no guarantee of success of any marriage. That depends on sense of responsibility.

Love marriage or arrange marriage both are successful in their own respective ways and I think there is no tool to measure which is more successful rather than our personal experiences in life. I have seen love marriages and arrange marriages both to be as success and at the same time to be as disastrous as it could be...

That's very well said,Ajay! No particular form of marriage can gurantee its success. I know of too many cases where love evaporated into thin air on the hard rock of reality after marriage!

Many youngsters have misconception that marriage results in failure incase of love marriage and in case of arranged marriage,complete compromise. Until unless the person goes through the institution of marriage,how will he/she know what is the worth?

Marriage depends on the partners the their mutual understanding whether it is a love or arrange marriage... But i feel in love marriage the expectations of the partners is high....

Love is a spontaneous feelings and this is not related to age, caste and religion. Often this fades and gets irrelevant. A friend of mine felt deep love with a girl a few years older than him when he was hardly fifteen. Being still a school student, there was no question of marriage. In most cases, this is only arranged- Either by the brides and bridegrooms or by others. A marriage decided by entire family is like a committee decision. A committee decision is best.

I think that the entire family should be involved in selection of bride or groom. But the final decision should be left to the boy and girls to be married. Such marriage is likely to be successful.
