Doomsday, i think people can't guess the date when God had fixed, it would be a sudden action by God

The Hindus believe that Doomsday will fall when Lord shiva opens his third eye.

I think doomsday will fall the day there is no humanity left in this world

Bible clearly mentions that no one knows the exact date or time for the day of the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-4 (NIV)
"for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

The day of the Lord Jesus Christ will come as a surprise and no one has the prediction for it.It is mentioned very clearly.

There are different views about Doomsday in various religions. It is not possible to arrive at a common view about Doomsday. However even if Doomsday is real, we cannot predict and will know only when the event takes place. So, we should go on with our usual work without botheringabout Doomsday. Afterall every one dies. Death is doomsday for the dying person.

A Russian teenager was so scared of Doomsday that she preferred death by hanging rather than embracing doomsday.

Last night, many people witnessed huge fire ball in sky and they felt this was bringing doom. Many jumped from roofs. Apparently, the fire ball was some space object. The local scientists are investigating.

Doomsday means that everything will end. But according to Science, matter is indestructible. This only changes shape- solid, liquid and gas. Thus matter will never end. Then Doomsdayy means end of all life. But all religions believe that all living things have souls. Soul is indestructible. So, soul will not be destroyed even on Doomsday. It follows that matter and souls will exist even on Doomsday. The bodyless souls are called ghosts. Hence, after doomsday, life will exist in shape of ghosts. This is for prophets of doom to ponder over and give their valuable thoughts.

Hindus have a peculiar concept of Doomsday. This is Pralaya. But universe is again created. So Doom is temporary one. There is a cycle of Satyug, Dwarao, Treta and kalyug. These all have distinct period. After expiry of all these Yug, Pralaya takes place. These Yug are collectively called Kulp. After some time another Kulp begins. All souls take the same form that did in the previous kulp and repeat their actions. All this is like Drama. This means that at he end of this kalyug world will end. But again satyug will arrive. We shall also be same again. So, we shall be again doing everything including writing this stuff in Boddunan.

Very well explained the cycle of Yugas according to the HIndu mythology and I agree with your view on this...

End of world is predicted in December 2012. But there are also rays of hope that this may be untrue.

Media is relating the severe cold in some countries and the earthquake as an indication o the end of the world.....but there is nothing that has been proved as yet...everything is going on prediction and faith......

So they were expecting it to materialize then? Had it been happened they won't be here to complain about it. I am sure this world is full of people who trust in unbelievable. Now they must be waiting for Mayan dooms day.

The next one is due in November or is it December this year according to Mayan calendar. Hopefully we shall predict a new one once that date is past without desired results.

This is interesting news. All religion have same story but the name of God is different. They have same reaction and same respect for God.
