When required, one may have to beat wife. But are there not occasions when husband needs beating. Many husbands spend most of money on wine and tobacco and do not give enough money to family even for essential food, clothes and education. should a wife beat such husband?

It's so inhuman and immoral to beat wives. If you want to prove a point then there are other ways through which you can prove your point. Yes, I think that this is more than a crime and most of them escape because of the leniency showed by their wives when it comes to take a legal action against their husband performing such an evil act.....About women beating their husband I think this is a rare case and nothing serious about it for even it happens it happens as a joke or fun...

Beating is an expression of frustration, anger and more over failure.In any case the spouse must be treated with utmost respect,those are the vows taken while marrying.Its really as mentioned correctly above the act of illiterate and the backward.

I knew sir, we have heard that proverb "Do bartan ek ghar me hote hai, to takrate hai". One thing is sure that quarrels makeeach other angry,but important part is that when they patch up. This is more loving thing,because here you give lots of love to each other.

It is a bare fact that quarrel will be there between husbands and wives but it should be taken note off that quarrel should not lead to physical violence or abuses...Gone are the days when this practice was prevalent in society and men easily had the escape goat but time has changed and husbands should no the fact that if they make this a habit then one day he have to pay a big price for it...

Beautifully explained. Married life is a private relations. Whether wife beats husband or husband beats her or both beat eac other by turn is okay as long as this is private and mild. If this is exceeded and matter becomes public, both husband and wife will be object of ridicule and misplaced sympathy.

Is husband beating also not bad? Husbands do not even complain about this out of embarrassment. Many years ago, I was aware of a husband whom his wife trashed every second or third day. She would make some wild allegation like affairs with other woman and then begin beating him with bare hands or stick. One day that man left her and went to some unknown place. This caused his wife repent but now this was too late.
